The Jump Joint on the radio is the same great music as our dance night but presented in a radio format.
You can listen anytime, so whether you’re cooking the Sunday roast, chilling out with a beverage or practicing some moves enjoy.
The “Jump Joint” is a retro dance night playing mostly 1930’s to the 1950’s music to suit dance styles of jive, swing, Rock n Roll, Lindy Hop, Charleston Balboa, Shag and more.
If you’re not a dancer don’t worry, foot tappers are welcome to chill and enjoy the colorful and vibrant early rhythm & blues, swing and rock ‘n’ roll music with artists like Big Joe Turner, Louis Jordan, Louis Prima, Wynonnie Harris, Ruth Brown, Benny Goodman, Jimmie Lunciford, Lionel Hampton, Little Richard, Jackie Wilson, Bill Haley and many more.
Most people dress in the style of the forties and fifties and although its encouraged it’s not compulsory just be comfortable.
The “Jump Joint” usually has live bands with DJ.
