Skip is his nickname that he answeres to since being 5 years old.
Having an older Brother & Sister, He grew up listening to Rock n Roll 50’s, Stones & Motown. While Growing up he listened to Wibbage (WIBG) & WPGR (Hy Lit & Jerry Blavat).
He Started collecting music in 1970, mostly radio hits & U.S.Soul, Group Harmony, Instros, Motown & my Favorite Girl-Groups & Singers.
He also watched Lawrence Welk, Bandstand, Soul Train & lots of TV music shows.
He has fun playing his weekly music show (Skip’s Lost 45s) on WVLT-FM 92.1 on Saturdays 11PM – 2AM and also on Sunday mornings EST.
Some shows are played here with Johnny B’s Oldies R&B streams.
He believes in this music, just like this station that plays the best of this era which may slowly be disappearing before our eyes.
